Abstract

1392834 Easels W E LUDWIG 20 Sept 1972 [25 Sept 1971] 43505/72 Heading A4H [Also in Division B6] A portable demonstration board comprises a board-plate 10 formed of articulated strips 101 so that it can be rolled up, an upper bearing rail 20 having sockets 16, 17, 18 receiving legs formed of detachable sections 11a, 12a, 13a, and clips 21 mounted on rail 20 and suspending the board plate 10 and demonstration sheets 24 by apertures therein. Each clip 21 comprises a fixed lower part 211 and an upper part 212 that can be moved longitudinally against the bias of a helical or leafspring 23 and swung to position 212' to open the clip. The strips 101 are connected by flexible bands 19 and may comprise sheet steel. Plate 10 may include a lattice pattern, and auxiliary boards, e.g. of plastics, cloth-covered, or a projection screen, and a clamping strip 25 may be mounted on clips 21. A rail 15 extending along the lower edge of plate 10 and adapted to receive e.g. pencils is releasably clamped to legs 11, 12.
