Abstract

The cover (5) and seat (4) are mounted on a common hinge (3), the pin (9) being part of the fixed portion (10). This is fitted onto the pan (1) by bolts passing through its rear. A longitudinal slot is provided on the lower surface of this fixed portion, leaving a flat (29) each side with moulded serrations (18). Each fixing bolt (11) has a flat head (28) with a lug underneath to slide in the slot. A projecting wing each side engages the serrations. The bolts pass through the holes in the pan and are tightened by nuts (12); adjustment is provided by the slot and an invisible fastening is formed.
