Abstract
The spacer stools (1) for use in insulating sandwich type panels for building construction, prevent the compression and evenutla deterioration of the insulating core, and take the form f triangles with equal length legs at each apex, a grillage with legs at nodes, a triangular plate with legs or a laminar cross. A typical deployment in a floor slab entails placing the stools (1) on the previously formed sub-slab (3), installation of the insulating core (2), placement of top slab reinforcement (5) on the stools, and finally the pouring of the surface slab (4): the weight of the surface slab and superimposed loads thus being borne by the stools.
