Abstract

The inductive and capacitive winding for transformers and chokes etc. has two mutually insulated conducting strips wound around one another. The turns of one conductor strip form one electrode of the capacitor, whilst the other ones, wound around this first conductor strip form both the second electrode of the capacitor and the inductive part of the winding. The number of turns of the inductor partially or wholly corresponds with the number of turns of the capacitor. The advantage of this multi-layer winding lies in its being economical to manufacture and in avoiding disadvantages inherent in other winding forms.
