Abstract
1,266,367. Transformers and inductors. FELTEN & GUILLEAUME CARLSWERK A.G. 30 July; 1969 [30 July, 1968] No. 38253/69. Headings H1A and H1T. An insulated metal foil conductor, particularly for transformer windings, is produced by coating with insulating, material at least the central region, preferably one side; onlyof a metal strip and doubly folding the margins of the strip so that the coating, extends at least over the outer folded edges of the conductor and so that the edges of the strip are enclosed. The strip may be folded round a further conductor as a core. The insulant may be an enamel or a solid fused in place. The enamel may be applied by rolling or spraying.
