Abstract

The floodlamp for illuminating workshops, sports grounds etc., has a casing consisting of a rear port (1) with the reflector (3) and bulb, and a four part (2) hinged to it, incorporating the glass cover (4) and secured to a support post or frame by a strap and suitable bolts, the strap having further attachments for securing to the support. The rim of the front and rear parts is identical, and is designed so that either can be attached to the support to give front or rear access for maintenance, as required. These rims each have a groove around them, for attachment of locking lugs at one side, and the hinge fittings (7a), 7b) at the opposite side, as well as the support, and are designed to incorporate a sealing ring between them.
