1290052 Releasable fastenings WELDALL & ASSEMBLY Ltd and H LEA 12 May 1971 [20 May 1970] 24511/70 Heading E2A [Also in Division B8] In a pallet or stillage, Fig. 1 (not shown), a hinged back gate (14) is retained in its near vertical position in engagement with uprights 13 by means of a pin 17 at each of its ends engaging in sockets 18 on the uprights 13, each pin 17 being locked in its respective socket 18 by means of an element 21 pivotally mounted on the associated upright 13 and which is rotatable anticlockwise to the dot-dash position of Fig. 3 to permit the pins 17 and thus the gate to be disengaged from the sockets 18 and lowered to a substantially horizontal position on the pallet base (10).
