Abstract

The air heater consists of an outside envelope (1) which surrounds a combustion chamber (2). At one end of the combustion chamber there is a burner (3). Beyond the combustion chamber ther is a hot air fan. The combustion chamber is fitted with a baffle (9) which disperse the combustion gases at the exit, and assists the mixing of these gases with the airflow on the outside of the combustion chamber (11). The burner consists of an induction tube (12) together with a central atomiser (16). The induction tube is also fitted with a baffle plate (17) at the entrance.
