Abstract
The system utilizes standard storey high units (3, 12, 13) tied in by ring beams (5, 8, 11, 17) at floor levels and inter-unit columns. The system features the use of identical panels for ground and succeeding floor walls, the former being supported on a temporary edge beam (2) whilst reinforcement projecting from vertical ribs (4) is cast into a ground level ring beam (5). After the ground floor slab (6) is cast a further ring beam (8) is cst, tying in unit heads and serving to seat a series of L section units (9) functioning as the temporary edge beam (2) did at ground level to support wall panels whilst a first floor level ring beam (11) is cast and the cycle repeated. Each unit has two terminal vertical ribs (4) serving to form columns (22).
