Abstract

One side end flap (1) is the width of the box and has two slots (2) pierced in it, the slots are aligned and their long axes parallel to the box sides. The opposite side end flap (4) has two tongues (3) cut in it so that, when folded over, these engage in the slots. The remaining end flaps (5) are shaped to form tabs (6) at each end, these being positioned to fit over the tongues protruding through the slots when inside the box. The weight of the contents bear on these tabs and on the tongues underneath and form a lock.
