Abstract

The box is formed by two sheets, one for the box itself and one for the lid. The box is formed by raising the rear (8) and the two side walls (10) and using the extensions (14) on the sides to lie on top of and to reinforce the base. The goods to be packed can then be pushed into place, and the front of the box (6) folded up, the extensions (16) slipping inside the sides (10), giving double thickness. Extension flaps at the top of the sides are folded over to hold the sides together. There are locking devices (18)(19) to retain the sides on the base. The lid is then placed on top.
