Abstract

Structural panels as in 7122954, with a core of slabs of low density insulating foam between surface sheets or skins linked by parallel strips of thin stiff sheet forming bridge through the foam core in which extra sheets are now fitted between the longitudinal (pref. corrugated) strips to join them into a structure braced in both directions. The edges of the individual foam blocks in the cells between the strips are pref. bevelled to form elongated cavities which may be filled with resin binder when the facing sheets are added and both the foam blocks and the sheet bridges have some aligned perforations for routing service conduits or for in situ casting of (reinforced) concrete.
