Abstract

Synthetic yarns are texturised in high speed false twisting machines with more compact heating zone formed by a heated roller over which the yarns are trained a number of times with the aid of an auxiliary roller spaced from the heated roller. Heated yarns are transferred to a known cooling zone disposed in front of a false twisting zone, the texturising taking place solely in the cooling zone.
