Abstract

A tea rolling machine comprises a frame which supports more than two rollers, forming a total number of nips one less than the number of rollers, which rollers are driven such that the circumferential speeds of any two rollers forming a nip are different. Preferably all the rollers are driven through suitable gear trains or other positive means by a single motor. Preferably the speed ratio of two rollers forming a nip is about 10 : 1.
