Abstract

A polyamide, polyacrylic resin, polyester or polyolefin base is glued to a pile coating of large numbers of fibres >=10wt.% pref. >=25wt.% of which are grass-like fibres of single filament denier 200-1500 den. and major diameter 0.5mm. and crimped fibres of 6-150 den., the ratio of deniers of the grass fibres to the crimped being 3:1. The fibres are pref. polyamide, and the grass is esp. for golf ranges.
