Abstract
A suspension comprising electrophotosensitive particles in a liquid carrier is continuously supplied to the nip between two rotating endless webs where the webs contact. An electric field is applied to the suspension in the nip while exposing the suspension to form an image on one of the webs. Pref. one of the webs is an insulating material, and at least one of the webs may be a glass fabric impregnated with polytetrafluorethylene and charged with carbon. May be used for monochrome and polychrome images.
