Abstract
1355526 Electro-photography AUSTRALIA COMMONWEALTH OF 16 Aug 1971 [17 Aug 1970] 38406/71 Heading G2H A photo-conductive member comprising a photo-conductor embedded in an insulative sheet is exposed on one side and the resulting conductivity image is developed with liquid developer while a member bearing a charge contacts the other side. As shown in Fig.1, a conductivity image on a member 2 is developed by means of a porous roll 7 while member 2 is in contact with a member 4 charged by means of a brush (6), Fig.1(B), (not shown). As shown in Fig. 2, a paper support 11 carrying member 10 is in contact with a charged endless belt 12. As shown in Fig.3, a member 18 bearing a conductivity image passes through the nip between a development roll 20 and a charging roll 19. Liquid developers and materials of photo-conductive members are specified. It is also stated that a dielectric image produced on an insulative member by stylus charging may be similarly developed.
