Claims (8)

1. Förfarande för framställning av klordioxid genom reaktion i ett reaktionskärl av ett alkalimetallklorat, en mineralsyra och metanol som reduktionsmedel i sädana pro-portioner att klordioxid bildas i ett reaktionsmedium som hälls vid en temperatur frän ca 50°C tili ca 100°C och som utsätts för undertryck som är tillräckligt för att föränga vatten, varvid en blandning av klordioxid och vat-tenänga uttages frän en förängningszon i reaktionskärlet och ett alkalimetallsalt av mineralsyran utfälles i en kristallisationszon i reaktionskärlet, känne- t e c k n a t därav, att metanolen införes i den Övre delen av reaktionskärlets kristallisationszon.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-n a t därav, att mineralsyran är svavelsyra.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att syrastyrkan är cirka 5 - cirka 11 N.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2, känne-t e c k n a t därav, att syrastyrkan är cirka 5 - cirka 7 N. 18 86538
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-n a t därav, att alkalimetallkloratet är natriumklorat.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-n a t därav, att klorid tillsätts reaktionsmediet för att hälla en kloridkoncentration av 0,001 - 0,8 mol/1.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-n a t därav, att klordioxidframställningen sker i när-varo av en katalysator tillhörande grupperna VB - VIII, IB, IVA och VIIA av det periodiska systemet.
8. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känneteck-n a t därav, att katalysatorn är en förening innehällan-de V, Nb, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ru, Os, Co, Ni, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ag, Ge, Sn, Pb, Br eller I, antingen separat eller i kombination.
