Claims (12)

1. Organofilt lergelningsmedel, känneteck-n a t därav, att det är en reaktionsprodukt, som bil-5 dats av a) en lera av smektittyp och med en katjonbytar-kapacitet av ätminstone 75 milliekvivalenter per 100 g lera, b) en organisk anjon vars mängd är 5 - 100 milli-10 ekvivalenter per 100 g lera beräcknad som 100-%:ig, och c) en organisk katjon som innehäller ätminstone en grupp med 12-22 kolatomer och vars mängd är till-räcklig att ätminstone mätta katjonbytarkapaciteten hos leran av smektittyp och katjonbytarkapaciteten hos den 15 organiska anjonen, varvid ett komplex av den organiska katjonen och den organiska anjonen bildar en mellanfas i leran av smektittyp och katjonbytarställena hos leran av smektittyp är substi-tuerade med den organiska katjonen.

Gelningsmedel enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n - netecknat därav, att den organiska katjonen är katjonen av ett sädant kvartärt ammoniumsalt, fosfonium-salt eller sulfoniumsalt eller en blandning av dessa kat-joner, vilket innehäller ätminstone 1 lineär eller för- 25 grenad alkylgrupp med 12 - 22 kolatomer.
