Claims (5)

1. Expanderbara, för framställning av snabbt avformbara cell- kroppar lämpliga styrenpolymerisat, som innehäller en vatten-olöslig, högmolekylär förening, som är löslig i monomererna och bildar en icke-kontinuerlig fas med styrenpolymerisaten, kännetecknade därav, att den i styrenpolymeri-10 saten innehallna högmolekylära föreningen är en polyoktena-mer, som förekommer i en mängd av 0,01-2,0 viktprocent, räk-nat pa polystyren.
2. Expanderbara styrenpolymerisat enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknade därav, att polyoktenameren uppvi- 15 sar lösningsviskositet frän 10-400 ml/g (I-värde) och ett trans-oktylen-innehall av 40-80 %.
3. FÖrfarande för framställning av expanderbara styrenpolymerisat, som är lämpliga för framställning av snabbt avformbara cellkroppar, genom polymerisation av styren, eventuellt 20 tillsammans med andra olefiniskt omättade monomera polymari-serbara föreningar i vattensuspension under intensiv meka-nisk omrörning i närvaro av ett jäsmedel och i närvaro av en vattenolöslig högmolekylär förening, som är löslig i monomererna och bildar en icke-kontinuerlig fas med polymerisatet, 25 kännetecknat därav, att man använder den högmolekylära föreningen i en mängd av 0,01-2,0 viktprocent, räk-nat pa styren resp. de gemensamma polymeriserbara monomererna, och denna är en polyoktenamer.
