PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE COMPUESTOS DE ANTRACICLINA, DE FORMULA (I), Y DE SUS SALES DE ADICION DE ACIDOS FISIOLOGICAMENTE COMPATIBLES. CONSISTE EN FERMENTAR EL MICROORGANISMO STREPTOMYCES PURPURASCENS DSM 2658 EN UN MEDIO NUTRITIVO ADECUADO, EN CONDICIONES AEROBIAS; DESPUES DE UN TIEMPO DE FERMENTACION COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 20 Y 36 HORAS, AÑADIR UN INHIBIDOR QUIMICO, PARA OBTENER EL COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE R1 PUEDE SER VARIOS TIPOS DE RADICALES, QUE SE SEPARA DEL MEDIO SIGUIENDO METODOS CONVENCIONALES. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SU EFECTO ANTIBACTERIANO.
