CONSISENTE EN: A) REDUCIR UNA DICETO-OXIMA (II) CON HIDROXIDO GASEOSO Y UN CATALIZADOR METALICO COMO PD/C, PARA DAR UNA HIDROXIIMINOCETONA DE FORMULA (III); B) CICLAR LA HIDROXIIMINOCETONA (III) POR REACCION CON UN ION CIANATO PARA OBTENER UNA HIDROXIMETILIMIDAZOL-2-ONA (IV); C) OXIDAR EL PRODUCTO DE B) CON N-CLOROSUCCINIMIDA O DIOXIDO DE MANGANESO, PARA OBTENER LA PIRIDOILIMIDAZOL-2-ONA DE FORMULA (I). SIENDO AR UN GRUPO 2-,3-, O 4-PIRIDILO Y R1 ES HIDROGENO O UN GRUPO ALQUILO DE 1 A 4 C.
