METODO PARA PREPARAR UN POLIMERO REFORZADO CON CAUCHO DE UNO O MAS COMPUESTOS MONOVINILIDEN AROMATICOS.CONSISTE EN: A) POLIMERIZAR UNA SOLUCION DEL CAUCHO Y EL COMPUESTO MONOVILIDEN AROMATICO EN PRESENCIA DE UN INICIADOR PROMOTOR DE INJERTO, PARA FORMAR UNA DISPERSION QUE COMPRENDE UNA FASE CONTINUA DE POLIMERO CON PARTICULAS DE CAUCHO DISCRETAS, CON UN TAMAÑO DE 0,5 A 1,5 MICRAS Y DISPERSAS EN TODA ELLA; B) AGREGAR CANTIDADES ADICIONALES DE CAUCHO A LA MEZCLA DE POLIMERIZACION; C) CONTINUAR LA POLIMERIZACION, PARA QUE EL CAUCHO AGREGADO, SE DISPERSE PORTODAS PARTES EN LA FASE POLIMERICA CONTINUA EN FORMA DE PARTICULAS DISCRETAS CON UN TAMAÑO DE 4 A 10 MICRAS; D) TERMINAR LA POLIMERIZACION; Y E) ENTRECRUZAR EL CAUCHO. EL CAUCHO ES UN HOMOPOLIMERO O COPOLIMERO DE 1,3-BUTADIENO, EL INICIADOR PROMOTOR DE INJERTO ES PEROXIDO DE BENZOILO, LOS COMPUESTOS VINILIDEN AROMATICOS SON ESTIRENOS, ALQUILESTIRENOS, BAB-ESTIRENOS Y OTROS.SE UTILIZAN COMO ENVASES, REVESTIMIENTOS DE FRIGORIFICOS, MUEBLES Y JUGUETES.
