SE REALIZA CON AGITACION DE LA MEZCLA, A TEMPERATURA DE 0 A 30JC Y CON UN PESO DE DIMETOXIETANO DE 3 A 30 VECES MAYOR QUE EL PESO DE CELULOSA; B) A LA MEZCLA, SE LE AÑADE EL AGENTE ESTERIFICANTE, QUE PUEDE SER UN CLORURO DE ALQUILO DE C 1 A 3 O UN OXIDO DE ALQUILENO DE C 2 A 4. SE REALIZA CON AGITACION DE LA MEZCLA, A TEMPERATURA DE 30 A 120JC,CON DURACION DE 30 MINUTOS A 8 HORAS.
