Abstract

PROCEDIMIENTO PARA AUMENTAR EL CONTENIDO DE HIERRO EN MATERIALES DE TIPO OXIDO. A UNA MEZCLA FORMADA POR PARTCULAS DEL MATERIAL Y PARTICULAS DE CARBONO, SE LE AÑADE UN GAS QUE CONTIENE CLORO, PARA FORMAR UN LECHO FLUIDIZADO A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 800 Y 1100 C, CON LO QUE SE CLORAN CIERTAS CANTIDADES DEL HIERRO CONTENIDO EN EL MATERIAL, FORMANDOSE CLORURO DE HIERRO. EL EFLUENTE GASEOSO DEL LECHO FLUIDIZADO SE PONE EN CONTACTO CON UNA CANTIDAD CONTROLADA DE OXIGENO PARA OXIDAR PARTE DEL CLORURO FERROSO CONTENIDO EN EL EFLUENTE Y FORMAN UNA MEZCLA DE CLORURO DE HIERRO Y OXIDO FERRICO. SE CONDENSA ESTE CLORURO DE HIERRO Y SE SEPARA DEL EFLUENTE PARA VOLVERLO A VOLATILIZAR, VOLVER A PONERLO EN CONTACTO CON OXIGENO Y OXIDARLO A OXIDO FERRICO. EL CLORO DESPRENDIDO EN ESTAS ETAPAS, EN FORMA DE GAS, SE RECIRCULA AL LECHO FLUIDIZADO.
