PROCEDIMIENTO DE SEPARACION DE HIERRO EN MATERIALES QUE LO CONTIENEN EN COMBINACION CON OXIDO DE CROMO. CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR EL MATERIAL CON CLORO RETIRADO EL CLORURO DE HIERRO EN FORMA DE VAPOR. SE FORMA UN LECHO FLUIDIZADO CON EL MATERIAL FINAMENTE DIVIDIDO Y CARBONO EN UNA PORCION DE AL MENOS UN 15 POR 100 EN PESO DEL TOTAL. LA TEMPERATURA DE REACCION SE MANTIENE ENTRE 900 Y 1.100 GRADOS. EL GAS DE CLORO TIENE UNA CONCENTRACION DEL 20 AL 60 POR 100 EN VOLUMEN. SE FORMA CLORURO FERROSO CUYA PRESION PARCIAL SE MANTIENE A UN NIVEL LO BASTANTE BAJO COMO PARA IMPEDIR LA LICUEFACION DEL CLORURO FERROSO. LA PROFUNDIDAD DEL LECHO ESTA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 1 Y 2,5 METROS.
