Abstract

Procédé de préparation d'oxyde de fer. On fait réagir du chlorure ferreux avec de l'oxygène ou un gaz contenant de l'oxygène moléculaire, à une température comprise entre environ 300 et 1200 degrés C pour former des produits contentant de la vapeur de chlorure ferrique et de l'oxyde de fer micacé solide, le chlorure ferreux étant pratiquement dépourvu des impuretés qui interrompraient la formation de cristaux d'oxyde de fer micacé, en ce qu'une portion du chlorure ferreux ayant réagi est transformée en oxyde de fer micacé, et en ce qu'on récupère cet oxyde de fer micacé solide résultant. Application pour la production d'oxyde de fer micacé synthétique.
