Abstract

METODO PARA LA POLIMERIZACION DE MONOMEROS ETILENICAMENTE INSATURADOS EN SISTEMAS ACUOSOS. CONSISTE EN UTILIZAR COMO INICIADOR DE LA POLIMERIZACION UN COMPUESTO SOLIDO FORMADO DE REDICALES LIBRES Y SOLUBLE EN MONOMEROS, EL CUAL ES AÑADIDO EN FORMA DE DISPERSION ACUOSA AL SISTEMA DE POLIMERIZACION. DICHA SUSPENSION ACUOSA DEL INICIADOR CONTIENE UN EMULSIFICANTE ETOXILADO NO IONICO, CON UN INDICE DE EQUILIBRIO HIDROFILO-LIPOFILO SUPERIOR A 15, DESPROVISTO DE ENLACES ETER INTERNOS CICLICOS. EL EMULSIFICANTE ETOCXILADO NO IONICO PUEDE SER UN ALCOHOL GRASO ETOXILADO O UN ACIDO GRASO ETOXILADO. COMO INICIADOR SE UTILIZA UN PEROXIDO ORGANICO. DE USO EN LA POLIMERIZACION DE MONOMEROS Y COPOLIMEROS DE CLORURO DE VINILO, UTILIZADOS EN LA FABRICACION DE AISLAMIENTOS PARA CABLES Y MATERIAL ELECTRICO.
