PROCEDIMIENTO DE OBTENCION DE 3-(4-PIRIDINIL)-2-CICLOHEXEN-1-ONA-OXIMA. SE CALIENTA EL 5-OXO-2-(4-PIRIDINIL)-CARBONIL-HEXANOATO DE ETILO CON UN EXCESO DE ACIDO SULFURICO ACUOSO. SE NEUTRALIZA EL EXCESO DE ACIDO. EL PRODUCTO RESULTANTE SE EXTRAE CON ALCOHOL ISOPROPILICO. SE EVACUA LA CAPA ACUOSA DENSA Y SE AÑADE CLORHIDRATO DE HIDROXILAMINA A LA SOLUCION. SE AGITA LA MEZCLA A REFLUJO, SE BASIFICA Y EVAPORA HASTA LA DESECACION Y SE AISLA EL PRODUCTO FINAL. SE USA COMO PRODUCTO INTERMEDIO EN LA ELABORACION DE AGENTES ANTIBACTERIANOS.
