METODO PARA LA ADICION DE MAGNESIO A UN BAÑO DE FERROSILICIO FUNDIDO. CON EL BAÑO DE FERROSILICIO FUNDIDO A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 1.320-1.450GC, UNA MEZCLA GASEOSA PROTECTORA QUE CONTIENE 1.000 A 3.000 PPM DE SF6, EN UN GAS DILUYENTE NO REACTIVO, TAL COMO NITROGENO, ARGON, DIOXIDO DE CARBONO O HELIO, SE INYECTA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL METAL FUNDIDO. DESPUES DE COMPLETADA LA PURGA CON ESTA MEZCLA GASEOSA SE INTRODUCE MAGNESIO SOLIDO EN FORMA DE LINGOTES, BLOQUES O VIRUTAS EN EL FERROSILICIO FUNDIDO, HUNDIENDOSE EL MAGNESIO EN EL BAÑO FUNDIDO, LO QUE VA ACOMPAÑADO DE SU DISOLUCION EN EL MISMO.
