Abstract
METODO PARA LA ADICION DE UN METAL REACTIVO A UN BAÑO DE FERROSILICIO. CON EL BAÑO DE FERROSILICIO FUNDIDO A UNA TEMPERATURA DE 1.320-1.450GC, UNA MEZCLA GASEOSA PROTECTORA, QUE CONTIENE 100 A 3.000 PPM DE SF6 EN UN GAS DILUYENTE NO REACTIVO, TAL COMO NITROGENO, ARGON, DIOXIDO DE CARBONO O HELIO, SE INYECTA SOBRE LA SUPERFICIE DEL METAL FUNDIDA. DESPUES DE COMPLETADA LA PURGA CON ESTA MEZCLA GASEOSA, SE INTRODUCE UN METAL REACTIVO SOLIDO EN EL FERROSILICIO FUNDIDO, HUNDIENDOSE DICHO METAL REACTIVO EN EL BAÑO FUNDIDO, LO QUE VA ACOMPAÑADO DE SU DISOLUCION EN EL MISMO. EL METAL PUEDE SER MAGNESIO, CALCIO, ESTRONCIO Y BARIO.
