PROCEDIMIENTO DE AFINO DE UN BAÑO DE METAL QUE CONTIENE MATERIAS REFRIGERANTES SOLIDAS, POR INSUFLADO DE OXIGENO POR LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL BAÑO DEL METAL, EN PARTICULAR EN FUNDICION LIQUIDA. SE CARACTERIZA PORQUE SE PROVOCA CERCA DE LA SUPERFICIE DEL BAÑO UNA POSCOMBUSTION DEL CO DESPRENDIDO DURANTE LA DESCARBURACION, REPARTIENDO O2 SOBRE LA TOTALIDAD DE LA SUPERFICIE, Y, POR OTRO LADO, SE REGULA EL ESPESOR DE LA CONSISTENCIA DE LA ESCORIA, ACTUANDO SOBRE EL DESEQUILIBRIO ENTRE LA ESCORIA Y EL BAÑO DEL EMTAL. SE ACTUA POR INYECCION DEL GAS INERTE POR EL FONDO DEL BAÑO DURANTE LA MAYOR PARTE DEL TIEMPO DEL REFINO. O
