LUEGO SE SEPARAN, QUIMICAMENTE, LAS PLUMAS DE LA LINEA Y DE LA CARNE ADYACENTE, DESENGRASANDO AMBAS. LA PIEL Y LA CARNE ADYACENTE SE SOMETEN A CURTIDO Y ENCOGIMIENTO, CON LO QUE SE OBTIENE UN CUERO EXOTICO CON UN DIBUJO FORMADO POR LAS PARTES DE FOLICULO DE LA PIEL QUE SE HAN CERRADO Y FRUNCIDO POR ENCOGIMIENTO.
