Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en termostatos del tipo en donde los medios sensibles a la temperatura, de preferencia constituidos por una lámina bimetálica, controlan un interruptor eléctrico que está constituido por una lámina elástica, uno de cuyos extremos se conecta eléctricamente a uno de los terminales de dicho interruptor, caracterizados porque la lámina elástica (22) comprende en su extremo libre contactos complementarios (24, 26) conectados en serie a los contactos de interruptor (16, 20), sobre cuya lámina elástica actúan medios termosensibles (32), mientras que medios fusibles (44), sensibles a la temperatura que ha de controlarse, actúan operativamente sobre los contactos complementarios (24, 26) y que, en oposición a la acción de medios elásticos (50) actúan sobre dichos medios complementarios, manteniendo éstos cerrados, mientras que cuando se funden dichos medios fusibles producen la interrupción del circuito de alimentación del equipo de empleo, independientemente de la posición asumida por los contactos eléctricos del interruptor.
