Abstract

1479364 Thermal switches THERMOSTATUND SCHALTGERA TEBAU GmbH & CO KG 5 Aug 1974 [4 Aug 1973] 34350/74 Heading H1N A temperature regulator comprises thermostat contacts actuated by bimetal 2, and cutout contacts 21, 22 normally pressed into engagement with each other against resilient means tending to open them by a pin 15 between contact 21 and fusible material 18, the cut-out contacts, thermostat contacts and bimetal being spaced apart by insulating members 10 all having registering holes through which a common securing member 1 passes. Fusible material 18 is metal and may be contained in a tapered hole in a cartridge 17 or in a tapered hole directly in member 6, Figs. 4-7 (not shown). Pin 15 may rest directly on the fusible metal, Figs. 4, 6, or on a disc in the fusible metal, Figs. 5, 7.
