Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine thermisch gesteuerte, elektrische Schaltvorrichtung 1, insbesondere Temperatursicherung oder Temperaturbegrenzer, mit einer aus einem Festkontakt 3 und einem Bewegungskontakt 4 gebildeten Schaltkontakteinrichtung 2 sowie einem eine Schmelzmasse 7 aufweisenden Schmelzelement 8, wobei die Schmelzmasse 7 vor einem thermischen Ansprechen infolge eines Überschreitens einer Auslösetemperatur ein Übertragungselement 9 abstützt und beim Überschreiten der Auslösetemperatur von dem sie beaufschlagenden Ende des Übertragungselementes 9 aus ihrer Aufnahme 6 verdrängt wird, wobei an dem Übertragungselement 9 eine radial abstehende, flächige Schmelzmasseabschirmung 19 angeordnet ist.
