Abstract
Procedimiento para consolidar arena de moldeo para un molde de colada, con utilización de una placa de modelo con modelo y una placa de prensado dispuesta en frente de él, en donde la arena de moldeo es introducida dentro de un recinto de molde que se encuentra entre la placa de modelo y la placa de prensado, luego es consolidada previamente y finalmente consolidada posteriormente de modo mecánico, caracterizado porque después de la introducción de la arena de moldeo dentro del recinto de molde, este es cerrado, y porque para la consolidación previa de la arena de moldeo se ejerce sobre la arena de moldeo un choque o impulso de presión explosivo, y porque a continuación se consolida posteriormente.
