Abstract

Un procedimiento para grabar una superficie de una pieza de trabajo, curvada de una forma cualquiera o plana, mediante ataque con ácido o mordiente y empleando una hoja de soporte flexible y delgada que lleva un dibujo desprendible a base de un colorante impermeable a la luz, siendo aplicada la hoja de soporte, con el lado que lleva el dibujo, sobre la superficie de la pieza de trabajo y transfiriéndose el dibujo a la pieza de trabajo, después de lo cual se elimina la hoja de soporte y se trata la superficie de la pieza de trabajo con un mordiente, caracterizado porque, antes de la aplicación del dibujo, se aplica sobre la superficie de la pieza de trabajo una capa de laca fotográfica, y sobre ésta se aplica el dibujo, porque la capa la laca fotográfica se expone a través del dibujo, después de lo cual se eliminan las zonas expuestas o no expuestas de la capa de laca fotográfica, y porque luego se atacan con mordiente las zonas de la superficie de la pieza de trabajo que ya no quedan cubiertas por la capa de laca fotográfica.
