Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de monoisocianatos o poliisocianatos orgánicos, de la fórmula general R(NCO)n, en la que R significa un radical alifático, cicloalifático, aromático o heterocíclico, eventualmente substituido, y n significa un número entero de 1 a 3, mediante descomposición térmica de una urea trisubstituida de la fórmula general R(NHCONR''R")n, en la que R'' y R" significan radicales hidrocarbonados alifáticos, de 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, iguales o diferentes, eventualmente substituídos, caracterizado porque se parte de un aducto con cloruro de hidrógeno de la urea trisubstituida, el cual contiene por lo menos la cantidad estequiométrica y, como máximo, 10% en moles, de cloruro de hidrógeno en exceso, y porque se realiza la descomposición térmica en masa fundida o en presencia de un disolvente orgánico inerte, en un sistema cerrado, a una temperatura de 80 a 180ºC.
