Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los separadores continuos para filtrar y sedimentar, equipados con unos tambores para filtrar o sedimentar, que se colocan afuera del eje principal de centrifugación y que giran alrededor de los ejes propios con una velocidad angular diferente de la velocidad angular del separador, caracterizados porque los tambores (17) montados en cojinetes en los discos en uno, inferior (5), y en el otro, superior (6)-, se accionan desde el árbol principal (2) del mismo separador por medio de una conocida transmisión planetaria (19) y/o de un motor separado (11), mientras que la dirección de revoluciones de una parte de los tambores (7) es contraria a la dirección de revoluciones de la parte restante de estos tambores (7).
