Abstract
Procedimiento para la cementación en atmósfera carburadora de piezas de acero, en el que la fase inicial del tratamiento se disuelve más carbono del deseado en la superficie de la pieza y en cuya fase final de tratamiento se procede a la descarburación hasta el contenido de carbono superficial deseado por variación de la corriente volumétrica de un gas descarburador, caracterizado porque el proceso de descarburación se lleva a cabo exclusivamente mediante la introducción en el horno de un gas descarburador libre de hidrógeno y que contiene oxígeno.
