METODO DE RECOCIDO DE METALES FERREOS BAJO ATMOSFERAS CONTROLADAS. SE CARACTERIZA POR EL RECORRIDO DE UN METAL FERREO EN VARIAS ETAPAS. PRIMERO SE INTRODUCEN LO S PRODUCTOS A TRATAR EN UN HORNO MANTENIDO A UNA TEMPERATURA SUPERIOR A LA TRANSFORMACION DEL PRODUCTO. SE INTRODUCE EN EL HORNO, A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE, UNA MEZCLA DE 0,1 A 10 POR 100 MOLAR DE METANOL Y EL RESTO DE NITROGENO GASEOSO. ESTA MEZCLA FORMA UNA ATMOSFERA PROTECTORA QUE INHIBE LA DESCARBURACION. SE MANTINEN LOS PRODUCTOS EN EL INTERIOR DEL HORNO, HASTQ QUE EXPERIMENTAN UNA TRANSFORMACION CRISTALINA EN AUSTENITA. FINALMENTE SE ENFRIAN HASTA LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENE A LA VELOCIDAD ADECUADA PARA OBTENER LA MICROESTRUCTURA APROPIADA PARA LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACION DE FABRICACION.
