Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de una composición que es útil como aditivo de expasión para composiciones de cemento hidratable, y que comprende óxido cálcico e ingredientes que retardan la hidratación del óxido cálcico, caracterizado por : (1) proporcionar partículas (a) que tienen un tamaño menor de 250 micras y (b) que comprende al menos 36% en peso de CaO; (2) calentar dichas partículas a una temperatura de al menos 100ºC, bajo condiciones tales que el producto contenga 36 a 95% en peso de CaO y presente un factor de expansión de al menos 0,06% y (3) enfriar dichas partículas.
