Abstract
Mejoras introducidas en el objeto de la patente principal nº 444.519 por "Un método para la producción de un carbonato metálico alcalino en una célula electrolítica" que consiste en: A. electrolizar una solución acuosa de un cloruro metálico alcalino en una célula electrolítica provista de un ánodo y un cátodo en compartimientos del anolito y del catolito separados por una membrana cambiadora de ion permoselectiva, que es impermeable al flujo hidráulico y que está separada del cátado; B. inyectar dióxido de carbono en el compartimiento del catolito, en cantidad suficiente para convertir prácticamente la totalidad del hidróxido metálico alcalino que se forma en aquél en un carbonato metálico alcalino y C. retirar del compartimiento catolítico el catolito que contiene el carbonato metálico alcalino.
