Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé d'électrolyse dans une cellule comprenant une chambre anodique et une chambre cathodique séparées par un diaphragme en un matériau non mouillable par l'électrolyse. On alimente une des chambres avec l'électrolyte, on fait percoler celui-ci à travers le diaphragme vers l'autre chambre et on règle la pression dans au moins une des deux chambres pour assurer un débit unitaire constant d'électrolyte à travers le diaphragme. L'invention s'applique aux cellules à diaphragme pour l'électrolyse d'une saumure de chlorure de sodium.
