Abstract

Una válvula de frenado de gases de escape para uso con un motor de combustión interna que tiene un colector de escape y un turboalimentador provisto de un alojamiento que tiene una cámara de rodete de turbina, comprendiendo dicha válvula una acción hueca que tiene una entrada para comunicar con el colector de escape y una salida para comunicar con la cámara de rodete de turbina, y un miembro montado dentro de dicha sección hueca para ajuste selectivo entre modos de frenado y de ausencia de frenado, estando provisto dicho miembro de una paso de flujo que interconecta la entrada y la salida de dicha sección hueca y que efectúa un flujo de gas sustancialmente no restringido a través de dicha válvula, cuando dicho miembro se encuentra en dicho modo de ausencia de frenado.
