CONSISTENTE EN UN SISTEMA COMBINADO DE FRENO DE DESCOMPRESION, QUE FUNCIONA AL ABRIRSE UNA VALVULA DE ESCAPE AL FINAL DE LA CARRERA DE COMPRESION Y UN TURBOCOMPRESOR EN EL QUE EL CARACOL DE LA TURBINA SE ENCUENTRA DIVIDIDO EN DOS CAMARAS. EL ACCIONAMIENTO DE UNA VALVULA DE DESVIACION CONECTADA AL ESCAPE DEL MOTOR PERMITE DIRIGIR EL FLUIDO DE ESCAPE A UNA SOLA DE ESTAS CAMARAS, AUMENTADOSE ASI LA PRESION EN EL COLECTOR DE ESCAPE. ESTO PRODUCE UN EFECTO DE FRENADO EN SI, AUMENTANDOSE ADEMAS LA TEMPERATURA DENTRO DEL MOTOR Y, POR TANTO, LA VELOCIDAD DE GIRO DE LA TURBINA, CON LO QUE SE INCREMENTA EL CAUDAL DE AIRE COMPRIMIDO Y CONSECUENTEMENTE LA ACCION DE FRENADO. T
