Abstract

Soupape de frein sur échappement, destinée notamment à un moteur à combustion interne muni d'un turbo-compresseur. Elle comprend une partie creuse dans laquelle un rotor de réglage est monté entre des orifices d'entrée et de sortie communiquant respectivement avec la sortie d'un collecteur d'échappement et l'entrée d'un turbo-compresseur d'un moteur. Le rotor peut être réglé entre une première position dans laquelle il permet un écoulement libre des gaz et une seconde position dans laquelle il ne permet qu'un écoulement réduit des gaz, cet écoulement étant suffisant pour maintenir en rotation la roue de la turbine tout en assurant le maintien d'une contre-pression dans le collecteur d'échappement.
