Abstract

Un aparato de registro/reproducción de cinta magnética de exploración transversal para grabar/reproducir señales de banda ancha, tales como señales de video en/de una cinta magnética que consiste en una base de plástico en forma de una cinta con una cara de recubrimiento en la que ha sido depositado un recubrimiento magnetizable y una cara trasera, que comprende: una disposición de cabezas magnéticas con un soporte de cabezas que puede girar alrededor de un eje de rotación, en cuyo soporte están montadas una pluralidad de cabezas magnéticas, regularmente separadas a lo largo de la circunferencia, a distancias radiales mutuamente iguales de manera que se mueven a lo largo de trayectorias circulares de diámetros iguales.
