Abstract

Un procedimiento de secado en lecho fluidizado para materiales en partículas, porosos, húmedos, en el que se habilita una masa de sólidos en partículas finas compuesta de dichos materiales porosos húmedos, se calienta un gas a una temperatura comprendida entre aproximadamente 649 y 1093ºC y se hace pasar una parte importante de dicho gas caliente a través de dicha masa de sólidos en partículas para fluidificar la misma y establecer en la masa fluidificada o fluidizada una temperatura comprendida entre 71 y 162ºC, aproximadamente, con lo que se evaporan grandes cantidades de humedad de la masa fluidificada, sometiendo el gas caliente a elutriación, al pasar por el lecho fluidificado, a las partículas finas de humedad de los sólidos en partículas arrastrándolas al interior de la zona libre de por encima del lecho.
